At Elephant Eco Trails, we believe that travel should be a force for good. Our mission is to protect Asian elephants by allowing them to live freely in their natural jungle habitat, and able to roam, forage, and socialise as they would in the wild. We are committed to a 100% hands-off approach, where there is no riding, no bathing, and no direct interaction, ensuring their wellbeing always comes first. By preserving their natural behaviours and environment, we aim to offer a more ethical and respectful way to experience these incredible animals.
At the same time, we support local Karen communities through fair and dignified work, and create sustainable, meaningful experiences for our guests. Every tour is designed to leave a positive impact – protecting wildlife, empowering local people, and preserving the natural beauty of Northern Thailand for generations to come.

We believe elephants should live as nature intended – free, untethered, and thriving in their natural jungle habitat. Our tours are designed to let guests observe elephants as they roam, forage, and socialise on their own terms, without interference. Every tour is 100% hands-off – no riding, no bathing, no touching, no interaction of any kind. The goal of this is to ensure the elephants’ wellbeing always comes first.

Support Local
We work hand in hand with local guides, mahouts, drivers, and staff to create fair, dignified opportunities for everyone involved. By choosing our tours, you directly support local Karen communities and their way of life.
